DescriptionThis is a list of preachers, the dates on which they lectured at Little Wild Street (London) in 1710, and the texts on which they preached. The location is referred to as Mr. Piggott's meeting house. Dates covered are September 4 through September 16 and it is not clear that this list is complete. Lectures are listed for every day except Sunday September 10. Preachers include (with some likely identifications): Mr. [Jabez] Earle, Dr. [Edmund] Calamy, Mr. [Joseph] Stennett, Mr. [William] Tonge (possibly Gouge), Mr. [Benjamin] Stinton (possibly Hinton), Mr. Holden, Mr. [Thomas] Bradbury, Mr. [Joshua] Oldfield, Mr. [Isaac] Watts, Mr Shellett (or Skerrett)?, Mr. [Moses] Lowman, and Mr. [John] Piggott. For this two-week period in September 1710, a different lecturer spoke at Little Wild Street on a different text each day. The lecture was at a Particular Baptist meetinghouse, but the lecture included well-known London preachers from the three main Dissenting denominations.
