Description'We had a sermon yesterday at Whitehall w[hi]ch mightyly magnified implicit faith as ye wisest thing in ye world to preserve a Church; & gave instance in ye Church of Rome, w[hi]ch vile & corrupt as it is, is kept up by yt art, & will always continue improveable upon yt foundation as our preacher veryly beleves, & ther\e/fore he commended it to ye Church of England as a Convenient expedient to stay it self upon ag[ain]st ye stormes & waves of all Non Conformity'.
