Description'In the afternoone [of 25 July 1675] we had a French sermon preach'd in ye great R: Chappel by a new convert, who pretends to have been a Dr of Sorbone, his name is as I am told Mons[ieu]r La March, but whether ever he were a Sorbonist or no, I know not; but such mighty earnestness was us'd to gett leave for him to preach, & so many glorious things said of his parts, yt I could not forbeare to hear him, expecting to have learnt ye motives of his conversion [...]'.
