DescriptionOxinden has taken notes from a book containing two sermons by John Humfrey, but he does not specify whether the note come from just one or both. In the published version, the text for the first sermon is identified as Mark 14:23 -- which is also quoted by Oxinden -- while the second does not identify a Bible text and was presumably preached on the same text.
