Other NoteThe sermon is identified as '6 Sermon.' Written in a mixed hand (predominantly secretary). There are marginal annotations, and there is some use of Greek and Latin. In addition to the extra notes (directed back to pp. 120 and 181 of the volume), there is an instance of cross-referencing within the book. On p. 336, the following has been written: '[...] That ye Supreme end of all Christ’s transactions with god, & undertakings for man, was to bring, or lead up man to God. joy in god through Christ. See this doctrine fully handled in ye Second Sermon of this booke, on that texte, i. Pet. 3.18. For Xt also hath once Suffered for Sin, ye just for ye unjust, yt he might bring us to God.'
