DescriptionDetails of preachings are found on f. 19r. These are likely two separate sermons written for different occasions. The preaching dates may refer to the sermon on Matthew 7:12, which appears to be the main text. As with most of these volumes, the sermon draft is written primarily on the rectos, but the allusion to Lent and Luke 6:31, in darker ink, might possibly be a later recycling of this story for Lent (Luke 6:31 is the gospel parallel for Matthew 7:12); this would explain the opening line "we are now entring into that part of the year which is called Lent," which obviously conflicts with the November preaching dates. The sermon is heavily revised, edited, with passages excised, a passage in darker ink attached with a pin (still there) on f. 33r.
