Other NoteThe preacher is identified as "Turner, prebend of Canterbury," and is also listed as such in the index. There was, however, no prebend of Canterbury with the last name Turner at this time. It's possible that the "Turner" being referred to here is William Turner (1510-68), the naturalist and religious controversialist, who was prebend of Botevant at York Minster when this sermon was preached. The catalogue entry (Hackman, Catalogi Codicum Manuscriptorum Bibliothecae Bodleiane...Thomae Tanneri) supplies William as the forename of the preacher.
