DescriptionThe writer of the sermon was told that two persons who had committed incest and afterwards married were then to do penance. Only the conclusion of the sermon is recorded here. One of a series of eight sermons preached 1661-1668, numbered pp. 89-180 in this volume. Cataloguer believes the writer was William Zouch, a Dorsetshire man who was canon of Peterborough (1646-1679) and rector of Spettisbury, Dorset.
