Other NoteSpecific location is conjectural. Griffiths did not become minister of Disserth until 1680, but his father-in-law was the incumbent for the 20 years preceding. The month but not the date is given; however, the following two sermons are for the Epiphany, so it is likely these were for the new year (given the text), perhaps even for this day, the Feast of the Circumcision. Griffiths describes himself as minister of Radnor.
