Description"Mr Lightfoots Funeral Sermon upon Sr Rowland Cotton. sent me by Mr. Duckfield." It is not clear who the recipient of this sermon was. This separate is mounted on boards in the manuscript and is a sermon on this text preached at the funeral of Lightfoot's patron, Sir Rowland Cotton.

Other NoteThe precise date and location of the sermon are unknown. Cotton died in August 1634 and was buried in the parish church of Norton-in-Hales. The tomb effigy of Cotton and his first wife was designed by Inigo Jones.
