Contents NoteThis manuscript contains diaries, poems and Tudor songs and ballads, in addition to ‘An Exhortacyon To Cranmer’ written by James Brooks, Bishop of Gloucester (ff. 3r–27r). There is a report of a sermon preached by one ‘P[ar]son Hyberdyne’ (f. 43r–43v) and a sermon on Matthew 18:3 preached by John Stubs at Gloucester in 1559 (ff. 164r-170r). Finally, there is also a manual on confession written in Middle English (ff. 46r–65r) and ‘Regula beati benedicti’, written in Middle English (ff. 66r–119v).
