Contents NoteThis volume contains notes from several sermons, written in the hand of Michael Foster. Foster may have been based near Cambridge, as he notes several funeral sermons delivered there, including that of Dr Thomas Playfere. The manuscript has been dated according to the preaching dates of these particular funeral sermons. Languages: English and Latin.

According to Cyril Ernest Wright, Robert Harley 'was primarily interested in English historical and political material and in volumes of sermons and theological controversy, sharing in the latter the taste of his Harley ancestors'.
