Other NoteThe exact birth date of Edward Beaver is unknown. He matriculated sizar at Magdalene College, Cambridge, at the age of sixteen on 28 March 1665. He graduated B.A. in 1668, proceeding M.A. in 1672. He was the rector of East Hatley and vicar of Tadlow, both in Cambridgeshire, from 1674. According to A Catalogue of the Harleian Manuscripts in the British Museum (1808), Vol. II, p. 651, Edward Beaver was also parson at Wickham, Hampshire from 1691 and also held a prebend at Chichester.
