Other NoteThe son of Edmund Angier, he graduated from Harvard in 1673 and gained the ministry at Behoboth in 1679. He married Hannah, the daughter of Urian Oakes (President of Harvard) on the 2 September 1680. They had many children: Amens (b. 1681), Hannah (b. 1682), Ruth (b. 1684), Edmund (b. 1685), Urian, Oakes, Samuel, Doroth, Sarah, Eunice (b. 1698), John (b. 1701), Elizabeth and Ruth (b. 1705). He was dismissed from his post at Rehoboth due to feeble health, and was installed at Watertown in 1697. His son John would go on to become a priest.
