Other NoteThe exact date of birth of William Fenner is unknown. He matriculated sizar from Pembroke College, Cambridge in 1612. He graduated B.A. four years later and proceeded M.A. in 1619. From 1618 until 1622, he was fellow of Pembroke College, Cambridge. Fenner initially served as chaplain to the earl of Warwick, and shortly after, as vicar of Harston, Cambridgeshire, from 1625. He also served as vicar of Sedgley, Staffordshire, from 1625 until his ejection in 1627. In 1627, he was awarded the degree of B.D. Other posts include St Peter's, Ipswich. He was instituted at the rectory of Rochford, Essex, from 1629 until his death, c. 1640.
