Other NotePrecise date of birth unknown, but Turner was admitted to St John's College, Oxford in 1650 at age 15. B.A. (1654/5), M.A. (1658), B.D. (1665), D.D. (1692). Rector of St Faith's under St Paul's, London (1662), of Chillesford, Suffolk (1662), and of Souldern, Oxfordshire (1667). Canon of Hereford Cathedral from 1692 until his death in 1697/8. Turner was appointed archdeacon of Hereford, but he died before he was installed.
