DescriptionThere is a chance that "Blackwell" refers to the place where the sermon was preached rather than the preacher. Boothby usually writes "Mr." before the surname of a preacher but in this case he does not. However, another sermon on which Boothby took notes in this volume (pp. 694-695) is preached by "Mr Blackwell", so presumably Blackwell is the name of a preacher whose sermons Boothby attended.
