Contents NoteThis manuscript contains the following: a sermon by John Sargenson, preached on 29 May 1683 (ff. 1r-17r); ‘A true Relation of ye wrongs done by Coll: Wren & his Forces to me Richd Burton of Dufton Church in ye County of Westmorland Clarke, as followeth’ (ff. 18r-24r, written on rectos only), dated 1644; ‘A Coppy of the Marriage Settlement of George Baker Esq & dated ye 15th of Novemb[er]. 1717.’ (ff. 25r-60r); and ‘A Coppy of the Marriage Articles refer’d to in the foregoing Settlement’ (ff. 61r-67v). Ff. 68r-75v are blank. There is also a series of wills and settlements relating to the Baker and Conyers families (ff. 76r-113v (written in reverse)). There is a contents page listing these wills and settlements on f. 115v (written in reverse).
