Other NoteJohn Sargenson was born in Coventry. He matriculated sizar from Peterhouse, Cambridge, in Michaelmas 1655, graduating B.A. in 1658-9. He was a Fellow of King's College, Cambridge, and took his M.A. there in 1662. Sargenson became rector of St. George, Canterbury, in 1671 and Rector of St. Mildred's, Canterbury, in 1672 and was buried at the former on 13 May 1684.
