Contents NoteA manuscript copy book written in multiple hands. There are a number of signatures: Daniel Pell (f. 2v, f. 133r, f. 36r), John Goodaire (f. 1r), William Hargrave (f. 3r), James Walker (f. 24r). Contains devotional and scriptural texts, alphabets in secretary, italic, and chancery scripts, family records of the Goodaire family, legal documents, notes on maths and stenography and handwriting. There are several elaborate pieces of calligraphic illustration and embellishment.
