Contents NotePredominately made up of financial notes, spanning from 1605-1609 (f. 1, f. 2 in reverse), accounts 1636-1642 mixed with accounts for 1702 in a different hand (ff. 5-8, 10) and Gabriel Rankin's accounts for 1702-25, 1702-1703, 1705-1708. There is also genealogical information about Gabriel Rankin of Orchardhead and his wife Sophia Clark (f. 10v); Latin verses (f. 12 in reverse); historical notes (f. 16).
Material FeaturesBound in contemporary velum with stitched patches reinforcing the spine. 57 + 21 inverted folios. The manuscript is much taller than it is wide (approx. 40 cm x 15 cm)
