Contents NoteThis manuscript volume, formerly belonging to Sir Thomas Smith (1513-1577), contains letters, records of Smith's work as Justice of the Peace (from 1567 until 1571), accounts, receipts, inventories, and various miscellaneous notes. There are rough notes for at least one sermon (starting on f. 106r) and one prayer (starting on f. 157v); it is conjectured by the cataloguer for Scriptorium that these are not written in Smith's hand.
