Contents NoteThis autograph manuscript (unsigned) contains three sermons by John Tillotson. The title page reads as follows: 'III. Sermons concerning the Education of Children Preached in the Church of St. Lawrence Jewry in London, in the Year 1662. Humbly Dedicated to the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty by the Authour'. Title page in red and black ink. 'The Preface to the Reader' (10 pages in total) follows the title page.
Material FeaturesOctavo. Bound in contemporary black goatskin, tooled in gold, with the royal crown stamped in each of the four corners of the volume (front and back).
