Contents NoteA journal comprised of Chaloner's notes, jottings, geometric tables, accounts, tables documenting things like eclipses, letters, meditations, paragraphs on different topics (e.g. amicitia, eloquence, parricide, the duties of scholars), extracts copied from books etc. In addition to a loose list of 73 sermons and texts upon which they were preached, there are also preliminary notes on biblical texts, assumedly for preaching, and preacher's and auditor's notes. Later notes are written by Chaloner's son, the Revd. Richard Chaloner, documenting his father's career.
