Contents NoteEleven sermons on the Lords Supper in the hand of the author. Front page suggests that the sermons were ' published by M Zacharie Boyd preacher of Gods word at Glasgowe' but there does not appear to be an extant publication. These eleven connected sermons are followed by a further twenty-four sermons on a variety of themes.
Material FeaturesLarge volumes of parchment bound in leather. Delicate/broken spine and worn parchment but in largely good condition with very little writing obscured by damage (some of the final pages torn). Page numbers appear to be original to the MS, there are some misnumbered pages and after p.705 the numbers restart at p.1 (as such, pp.1-705 are followed by pp.1-360). c.1111 pages in total.

ProvenancePart of a large volume of works that Boyd bequeathed to the University upon his death in 1653. Have been cared for by the university from this date.
