Creation Dateca. 1700 -
Contents NoteTwo undated sermons by an unknown preacher, on Proverbs 3:5 and Jeremiah 17:9. They are written in a late 17th or early 18th century hand and so were likely written c.1700. The name 'Peter Wodrow' is written on inside of the rear cover alongside a drawing of a tree - he is not a known minister and is presumably related to Robert Wodrow (owner of the wider MS collection) in some way.
Material FeaturesA thin leather bound notebook. There are some pages torn out from the back but otherwise the MS is in very good condition. All pages have hand drawn margins and there are page numbers that are original to the MS. 48 pages total.
