Contents NoteContains 20 sermons preached between 1661 and 1662 by various preachers. The inside cover and front page feature the initials 'J J' and the year 1661, this may be the author of the MS but their identity is unknown. The second page of the MS has an index of sermon contents. A loose piece of folded paper has been inserted into the back of the volume containing notes on scripture 'taken out of Mr Ferguson.'
Material FeaturesA small leather bound notebook - the original ties are partially intact but no longer functional. The paper is in very good condition, with very minimal damage throughout. There are page numbers which appear to be original to the MS (c.185 pages in total), and no foliation. The sermons face in two directions - the front of the MS has been taken to be the side with the archive label on the inside cover.
