Contents NoteA calf-bound volume, begun at both ends but for the greater part blank, containing notes of sermons, written by Benjamin Coles, senior, and Benjamin Coles, junior. On f. 1r is written "Ben Coles 1712 His Booke Aetat. Suae 17. Annoq; Annae Reginae X." This appears to refer to the younger Cole. On f. 2r is written "Ben: Coles 1698. Some Notes Taken from ye late Revd. Mr. Tho: Cole."
Material FeaturesThe boards have become detached. Otherwise the manuscript is in good condition. The notes are written margins ruled on the lefthand side in two hands, presumably those of Coles, father and son.
