Contents NoteThis manuscript contains a copy of Thomas Cole's last sermon, some of his deathbed statements, some verses, and another sermon by Cole. The CL catalogue concludes that the scribe for all but the last sermon is Joseph Jacob (on the evidence of the old catalogue that conjectures that the handwriting is Jacob's). Apparently more than one copy of Cole's last sermon survives in manuscript, although comparison of a report describing one such manuscript and this one reveals significant differences between the two. Other parts of the manuscript (not sermons) also exist in several variant manuscript forms.
