Contents NoteContains sermon outlines written in fair copy in a large and clear hand. The volume begins with an incomplete sermon and has pages torn out at the end as well as an occasional missing page throughout. The sermons have all been written in the same hand but are by various preachers, including Dr. Jacombe. Many provide no information about the preacher or the date and place of preaching. They were apparently written by an auditor, since the person notes having missed a sermon on p. 257.
Material FeaturesLarge notebook bound in vellum. There are notes in shorthand inside the front and back covers. The pagination is original. The volume begins with an incomplete sermon. Pages 125-156 have been torn out, leaving p. 157 to begin partway through a sermon dated October 30, 1681. A large number of pages have also been torn out at the end of the volume.
