Contents NoteThe manuscript contains fair copies of the gospels of Matthew and part of Mark (which breaks off in the middle). Following these are fair copies of 11 sermons preached on Canticles that may be in a different hand. The final item is entitled "Trayll before communicating." The first sermon is dated 29 November 1669 while the rest are undated. The final sermon is incomplete.
Material FeaturesThe name William Carse appears facing the first page of text. A later hand has written in pencil, "John Spear[?] February 20th 1818. Edinbro." Joshua Wilson stamp on first page of text. Various other names and pen trials on both end papers.
