Other NoteFl. 1617-1662. The CCEd entry only includes his positions in the years 1617-1629. Nevertheless, this is presumably the preacher of a sermon in 1662 (MS. Rawl. E. 71) because he is the only John Coren in the usual biographical sources. Additionally, in the text he is identified as "John Coren a Devonshire clergyman", and the positions recorded in the CCED entry are all in Devon (preacher in Exeter, 1617; curate in South Molton, 1623-1629; schoolmaster in South Molton, 1623).
