Other Notefl. c. 1675-1689. He preached the sermons in MS. Don. e. 162, primarily in Bangor. AO and CCEd list a Hugh Morris who preached at Bangor-on-Dee (aka Bangor-Is-y-Coed and Bangor Monachorum), which is distinct from the well-known cathedral city called Bangor. That Morris was rector Bangor-on-Dee from 1687 until he was deprived in 1690. It is possible that this Hugh Morris is the preacher and the particular "Bangor" where the sermons were preached has been misidentified.
