Other NoteTCD M&ARL Online Catalogue identifies Edward Sayers (d. 1730), Chancellor of the Diocese of Cloyne, as the author of the sermons in TCD MS 3543. This may be the same Edward Sayers who appears in ACAD (Venn). That Sayers was born c. 1662 and studied at Trinity College Dublin in 1680, where he was also a fellow in 1686. He was admitted as a fellow at Queens' College, Cambridge in 1689. B.A. (1683), M.A. (1686), B.D. and D.D. (1709).
