DescriptionThere appears to be several sermon reports in this manuscript. The first two sermon reports are noted underneath the preaching information for the sermon on Psalms 19:11. For the first, the Bible text is identified as "psa ye 58, last v", i.e., Psalms 58:11. The text is quoted, after which is written simply "1713". For the second, the Bible text is identified as 1 Timothy 4:8. The text is quoted, after which several preachings in County Cork are noted. These are somewhat difficult to decipher, but they appear to be: 10 July 1709 in Doneraile ("Donerayle"); October 1700 in Bandon; 7 June 1702 in Mallow; and 2 January 1697 in Doneraile ("Donerayl"). The date for the last of these preachings is particularly difficult to read. There is what appears to be another sermon report noted underneath the preaching information for the sermon on Matthew 17:23. The text is quoted as 1 Corinthians 15:20, after which several preachings in County Cork are noted: 12 April 1707 in "Doner[aile]"; "ye next sund. [presumably 20 April 1707 rather than 13 April, which was also a Sunday] in "But[tevant]" (?); 24 April 1709 in "Don[eraile]" "ye sund: following" (1 May 1709) in "M^rberlins" (?); and preachings sometime in 1712, 1715, and 1723 in "Don[eraile]".
