Other NoteThe exact birth date of Thomas Gamull is unknown. He was the first son of Edmund Gamull of Chester. He matriculated at Brasenose College, Oxford on 8 December 1587, at the age of sixteen. Subsequently, he graduated B.A. from the Queen's College on 13 November 1591. Following further study at the Inner Temple, he became an MP for Chester in 1601 and its Recorder in 1605. Gamull died on 11 August 1613 and was buried at St Mary-on-the Hill, Chester.
