Other NoteMoses Noyes was the third son of Rev. James and Sarah (Brown) Noyes. He entered Harvard College in 1656 with his elder brother James. He began to preach in Lyme when the town was settled in 1666. From 1706 he was a Fellow at Yale College. He married Ruth Picket of New London.
