Other NoteDorothy Mileham was the fourth daughter of Edward Mileham of Burlingham St Peter, Norfolk, and Dorothy Hobart, daughter of John Hobart of Salle. She was also related to Archbishop Thomas Tenison (1636-1715). She married Sir Thomas Browne (1605-1682) in 1641. An oil painting of the couple, attributed to Joan Carlile and dated c. 1641-50, is held at the National Portrait Gallery (NPG 2062). Their children included Elizabeth Lyttelton, who compiled Cambridge University Library, MS Add. 8460. Dorothy Browne's monument can be found at St Peter Mancroft, Norwich.
