Other NoteThe exact date of birth of John Emerson is unknown. It is conjectured that he was born c. 1625, the son of the baker Thomas Emerson of Ipswich, Massachusetts. A graduate of Harvard College, John Emerson was ordained on 6 October 1663. He died, aged seventy-five, on 2 December 1700.
