Other NoteSon of William of Banbury, he matriculated at New Inn Hall on 4 July 1634 aged 16. He gained is MA from Edinburgh in 1639, and was incorporated as apreacher in the same year. From 1649-50 he was the historian of Fairfax's army, and then later became preacher at St. Mary Aldermary and rector of St. Pancras, Soper Lane. He died in June 1684 and was buried at Crayford, Kent.
