Other NoteEdward Taylor was born c. 1642 in England. He arrived in the United States in 1668 and was admitted to Harvard College. Taylor graduated in 1671. His ministry was at Westfield, Massachusetts; he died there on 24 June 1729. He is primarily remembered today as a prolific poet.
