Other NoteEducated at the Uni of Glasgow, became chaplain to Sir William Douglas of Cavers but was denounced for not submitting to the Bishop's authority in 1676. Was a preacher at conventicles c.1681, then ordained to the Second Charge, Kilmarnock, 9 August 1688. Transferred to the First Charge, Aberdeen, December 1695, and appointed Chair at Marischal College 1697. Died in April 1711.
