Other NoteLicensed by Glasgow Presbytery in 1690 and sent to Stirling to preach to the inhabitants of Glasgow who had been driven there by the troubled state of the kingdom. Ordained to New Monkland 15 April 1691 and transferred to Markinch 1701 and St Leonard's with Principalship in conjunction, October 1708. He married Jean, daughter of John Carstairs, minister of Glasgow.
