Other NoteDespite the fact that he resided in Ireland, with posts at Trinity College, Dublin, we know that he preached before the King at Whitehall in 1668 (the sermon was printed) and that he visited Oxford in 1670. It is entirely conceivable that he is the Dr. Lingard who preached at Gray's Inn Chapel in 1669.
