Other NoteJohn Latham, son of John Latham, was born in Congleton and baptized on 26 February 1636/7. He matriculated at Pembroke College, Cambridge in 1660, graduated B.A. in 1663/4, and proceeded M.A. in 1668. He served as vicar of Bunbury, Cheshire from 1669-81 and as rector of Lawton, Cheshire from 1682-1705. He died on 5 June 1705 and was buried at Lawton. He had at least one son, also named John.
