Other NoteWritten in a neat, cursive round hand. There are some minor additions and deletions in a later hand, most likely by Francis Swan (1677-1740), the son of Aldrich. There are several strikethroughs; for example, upon interjections which were inserted for rhetorical effect (see p. 124). It is not known whether this sermon was preached on the sacrament day in all of the years indicated.
