DescriptionTowards the end of the sermon, after a passage on hypocrisy: “The Sun of Righteousness begins to aris, with his glorious Light, which shall make manifest to the World, that those are they which have indangerd the Very Elect themselves. I am now to give them a sting in their own consciences, which shall speak in them, & to them this which I testifie by my Spirit. / I will that the foregoing words, which were spoke Just now, by my Servant, and this which is now spoke by thy Mouth, be transcribd in a fair copie, & sent to the Man whose name is Wishart that he may know, that, I the Lord have spoke these Words in a corner of that place, where he pretends to be the Teacher & Instructer of my People.” (f. 40r)
