DescriptionThis is the second sermon in Stowe Temple Religious Papers, Folder 24. The preacher argues that '[i]n the text there are 2 of gods greate attributs mercy and justice' (see p. 3). In a slip held with this manuscript, there is a note written by Professor Alec Ryrie, dated 18 August 2016, which reads as follows: 'The 2nd, 12mo sermon was evidently composed shortly after Easter 1641. See the comments on public affairs on pp. 97-101'.
