Additional MaterialThe title page is signed 'G. B. a Priest of the Church of England. 1680'. The dedicatory epistle is addressed to 'the right Honble John Earl of Bridgwater, Viscount Brackly, Baron of Ellesmere One of his Majestys most Honble Privy Councell, & Lord High Steward of the Vniversity of Oxford'. The pagination begins from 'A Premonition'. The letter at the end of the sermon, dated 20 May 1680 at Edlesborough, explains that the sermon was intended to be printed at Oxford, but was withdrawn owing to the author's 'judgement of its worth'.
