DescriptionAuditor’s or reader’s notes with the title: ‘Bishop Andrewes Sermons’. Underneath is another title that has been crossed out: ‘Reddite Caesari quae sunt Caesaris et deo quae sunt dei Math:22. ver: 21’. These notes are brief sentences in English, in a clear legible hand, commencing: ‘No way to prouide for the poore but by sale of Christs ointment’. These notes seem to finish on f. 34v and then there are a few more under a new heading ‘Mr Thorndikes booke’.
